Happy Wednesday friends! Finally bringing back the WIAW. It’s been awhile since I’ve actively participated, which is a shame because the meals down in these parts have been off the chain.
It’s too bad I didn’t get any pictures of them. I scarfed them down too quickly I guess, so these boring meals will have to do!
Breakfast was back to the basics. Chobani yogurt with a banana. We’ll ignore the fact that I had a McDonalds breakfast sandwich today (totally worth it).
Yesterday afternoon I went shopping for Vegas outfits and I met up with my mom to grab lunch at the mall. It’s so awesome to live in the same area as my family to be able to do things such as these. I really took it for granted growing up and I’m so glad I’m back!
We went to the Chinese food restaurant in the mall and I ordered orange chicken, lomein, and green beans. The chicken and lomein were just eh, but the green beans were off the chain. My mom didn’t really like her meal either, but the company made it a great lunch.
When I got home from work yesterday I went straight to my room to start cleaning everything out. I’ll definitely have to share my before, during, and after pictures. The movers are coming tomorrow with all of my furniture so I have to make sure everything’s clean. I got so caught up in cleaning out my bedroom that I didn’t even eat dinner and was in bed by 8. That definitely explains why I was so hungry this morning (again, McDonalds – totally worth it).
Today I’m at the office all day, WHICH I totally love by the way – but I’ll save that for another post. This week is flying by surprisingly fast considering I have a vacation to look forward to this week.
That’s right, this Friday I’m going to VEGAS BABY!
About a month ago my old roommate Tom and I were texting about having a reunion. It took about 3 seconds to decide on Vegas, and another 10 seconds to convince our 4 friends to join us. Three hours later our flights were booked and it was official. Vegas here we come!
I land in Vegas early Friday morning and don’t get back until Monday night. Because there’s 6 of us total we’re staying in a suite at one of the hotels in the middle of the Strip. The prices were extremely reasonable, and how can we not get a suite when we’re planning the Hangover Part IV (coming soon to a SnapChat near you).
The last time I was in Las Vegas was my senior year of college. My sorority sisters and I went out for the week and, boy, did we have a blast.
I’m excited to finally experience Vegas as an adult. And by that I mean I’m not a broke college student trying to ball on a budget, I can actually afford to lose the money I’m gambling with
I’m heading back to the office for the day, have a great week everyone!
