We’re going to change things up this wonderful WIAW. Instead of a play by play of just my meals, I’m going to give you a play by play of what a somewhat typical weekday is like for me! Thanks again to Jenn for hosting this wonderful party!
Wooops forgot to close my curtains last night. Guess it’s time to wake up and it’s going to be a beautiful day!
After brushing my teeth and washing my face, time to make breakfast!
Breakfast was quick and simple. Granola + yogurt + banana = YUM.
Time for the workday to begin. Gotta get dressed and rush off to the office!
Aaaaand I’m at work. We keep it real casual over here. Sorority tank tops, boxer shorts, and
greasy messy buns are the standard “business casual”. Oh, and you can’t forget the slippers.
Ohhh the perks of working from home
I decided to take a time out from work to
stalk Facebook read some blogs. And lay in bed. And I may or may not have watched an episode of Law & Order: SVU (it’s like crack). Then it’s back to the books office.
Lunch time! On the menu: snap peas, red peppers, roasted red potatoes in a garlic sauce. This was gone in .4 seconds. Then I was onto the Pretzel Crisps. RIP bag of Pretzel Crisps.
The avocados from the kitchen were calling my name… you know what that means. Guac dip!
WorkDAY is done. Time for the workOUT to begin
Ummm so as I posted this, I realized that instead of jumping jacks I did 100 jumpin’ jacks.
You know how I roll.
My initial plan was to complete this circuit 2-3 times to get 1,000 reps in. Well I may have gotten 1,000 reps, but after the first circuit I kind of did my own thing. I made it through the 60 second plank for the second time before I started doing half of everything else. Trust me though, by the end of the first circuit, my heart was pounding. It’s a great workout to do at home when you just can’t find the time (or energy) to make it to the gym!
Winner winner, chicken dinner! But seriously, chicken again. I really need to get some variety in my meals.
Pretty Little Liars, duh.
I finish up my blog post, watch an hour (or three) of Law & Order: SVU (damn those Tuesday marathons) and then it’s lights out and off to dream land. Sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite!
